Answering Your Questions

What do these abbreviations mean?

WOD = Workout Of the Day

MetCon = Metabolic Conditioning. Most people think of this part of the WOD as the “workout.”

AMRAP = As Many Repetitions As Possible

EMOM = Every Minute On the Minute

Is the workout for the day the same throughout the day, regardless of class time?

Yes. Every CrossFit class on a particular day will have the same program for every class that day. Having said this, there will be times when a coach makes adjustments to better impact the clients in that specific class. The warm-up at 5 AM may look different than a warm-up at 12 Noon, for example.

Is the next day’s WOD listed in Wodify?

Yes! You can see tomorrow’s WOD in the Wodify app starting at 8 PM the night before the workout.

Is there a particular website that demonstrates the movements?

The YouTube link is a “library of movements” that we use at Blue Eagle. The library is not all-encompassing, but it has the most common movements we do in CrossFit. If you don’t see a particular movement in this library, I recommend using YouTube to search for it. I promise somebody somewhere has done it before and has made a video about it. :)
