Monday Motivation - Be Better: Get a Coach
TwoBrain Summit
I spent this past weekend in Chicago at the TwoBrain Business Summit. I have two “heroes” in the gym ownership space: Chris Cooper and Ben Bergeron.
Chris Cooper
Chris Cooper started a business mentoring small-business owners, especially of gyms. I love Chris Cooper because of his mindset. He wrote a book called “Help First,” which is exactly what we try to do at Blue Eagle.
Ben Bergeron
My second hero is Ben Bergeron. He owns CrossFit New England, has coached multiple teams and athletes to the CrossFit Games, and helps his clients “become happy, humble, hungry people who will kick ass into their nineties.” One of our goals at Blue Eagle is to coach you into living an abundant life long past ninety.
This weekend, I spent time with both Chris and Ben. Chris hosted the conference and Ben was the keynote speaker.
Every year, this conference serves as a benchmark for me to reflect on how Blue Eagle is best serving you. Blue Eagle is not perfect, and we never be perfect, but we can keep chasing perfection. The chase is what fires me up!
What Fires You Up?
What fires you up when you think about getting better? Is there an area of your life you want to improve?
It could be as small as improving your sleep. It could be as big as being a better parent.
When you find an area of life you want to improve, the fastest way to get better is to have a coach. I have a coach for running Blue Eagle, and I have a coach for writing One Minute Fitness.
